Walk Around the Sun for Maria Montessori

Maria Montessori turns 155 this year, and we are going to celebrate her with a Walk Around the Sun!

I have been wanting a way to introduce families to how birthdays are celebrated in Montessori communities, and there is no better way than by celebrating the lady who started it all herself, Maria Montessori! We will be discussing what these walks look like in class this week - and doing some crafts to help us get ready - in preparation for the big event on Saturday.
